Russian Grain Markets: 8 – 12 May 2023  Russia’s grain markets remained bearish with the volume of trade miniscule because of traditional May holidays in Russia. A parade in Moscow was held irrespective of the weather or geopolitical situation giving the Russian people another day off except for the military which continues their aggression on the Ukrainian front. Russia tried negotiating a better grain corridor deal. The grain corridor will most likely be extended for another 60 days even though Russia is threatening to terminate it at any point if their demands are not met.
