Livestock Live Hog Price Sees Modest Increase in Last Full Week of March The national average live hog price through the week ending 26 March rose slightly by .8 percent to RMB 27.46/kg ($4.18/kg) or RMB 12.45/lb. ($1.90/lb.). Meanwhile, the Dalian live hog futures contracts have seen some sizable swings over the past couple of weeks. The last full week of March saw the September 2021 contract fall by RMB 1,210/MT ($184.26/MT) or 4.3 percent to close at RMB 27,215/MT ($4,144.52/MT). The November 2021 contract also saw a significant drop of RMB 935/MT ($142.39/MT) or 3.4 percent to close at RMB 26,365/MT ($4,015.08/MT).
