Congress to Begin Debate on Spending Bills This Week

The House will take up a “mini-bus” appropriations bill on Thursday this week; it is a combination of the FY 2021 appropriations bills for the Department of State & Foreign Operations, Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, Interior & Environment, Agriculture, and FDA spending blueprints. They are five of the 12 regular appropriations bills.   The package as proposed will probably pass as is on a party line basis.
