News Updates CORN FLOUR QUALITY PROBLEMS After many consumer complaints, the Tanzanian government is looking into the quality of maize flour available in the market. The government has tight requirements for maize flour as it is a major food item, but with the exception of major millers, there seems to be very little concern for the required specs and the milling industry appears to be very loosely regulated. According to the government, a non-regulated group of bakers and millers has sprung up and quality of flour and bread has dropped considerably.
