Regional Updates MEDITERRANEAN/MIDDLE EAST/NORTH AFRICA/AFRICA – MEA REGION Lebanon is scheduled to receive the first shipment of wheat from Ukraine’s Odessa port – the M/V Razani is reported to have sailed from Odessa with about 26,000 MT of wheat. The vessel will stop in Istanbul for inspection as part of the grain corridor agreement.  Lebanon reportedly arrested a vessel carrying wheat and barley from Russian Crimea to determine the actual origin of the grain. There are concerns that the grain on board may be from Ukraine and not Russian grain. Also in Lebanon – the highly damaged port grain silo from the 2020 explosion has partially collapsed.
