Our Focus
Commodity Analytics provides an analytically-oriented look at commodity market fundamentals, including updates of supply/demand balance sheets from USDA’s WASDE reports. Other such long-term updates include analysis of the Cattle on Feed report and the weekly Export Sales report. Additionally, Commodity Analytics provides a daily update of technical indicators for commodity futures markets, including grain, livestock, softs, equities, and energy contracts.
Our History
Commodity Analytics was developed to provide senior executives with a clear, simple, visually-oriented explanation of commodity market developments. As such, our unique set of charts, tables, and other visualizations can be incorporated in written reports or presentations that need a quick explanation of complex market dynamics. Additionally, traders can use technical analysis components to gauge the market’s momentum and supplement other trading systems. Much as Ag Perspectives gives a look at the “nexus of markets and policy,” Commodity Analytics provides a look at the nexus of technical and fundamental market factors.
